About HMM Recipes
HMM Recipes is a small, hands-on kitchen team sharing comforting, family-friendly food with clear steps and dependable results—so your first try feels confident, not confusing.
Original recipes & photography • Edited for clarity • Updated when readers help us improve • Brand-safe, family-friendly
Our story (the “why” behind HMM)
HMM Recipes started with a real-life problem: weeknights were busy, grocery budgets were real, and we needed recipes that didn’t require scrolling through ten screens to figure out what to do next. We wanted clear instructions, repeatable outcomes, and food that fits normal life.
Today, we still work the same way—cook, taste, adjust, and rewrite until the recipe reads like a friend is standing next to you in the kitchen.
Meet the HMM Recipes Team
We’re a team of three—hands-on from start to finish. We develop the recipes, style and photograph the food, edit every step for clarity, and respond to reader questions.
Claudia
Founder
Claudia leads recipe direction and final edits. Her focus is comfort food that’s dependable: clear steps, tested timing, and flavors that work for real families.
[email protected]Alice
Assistant
Alice supports testing notes, ingredient checks, and step-by-step clarity. She’s the “does this make sense to a busy cook?” filter before anything goes live.
[email protected]Maya
Assistant
Maya handles visuals and polish—photo selection, alt text, and reader-friendly formatting. She helps ensure the page looks great and reads clearly on mobile.
[email protected]Recipe development & testing
- Recipes are tested with real timing ranges and doneness cues (not just “cook 10 minutes”).
- We note pan sizes, heat levels, and texture indicators (golden edges, thickened broth, etc.).
- When helpful, we add substitutions, make-ahead tips, storage, and reheating instructions.
- Nutrition values (if shown) are estimates—brands and ingredients vary.
Content integrity
- Original writing and photography intended for HMM Recipes.
- We update older recipes when feedback shows a step can be clearer or more reliable.
- Comments are moderated for kindness, safety, and usefulness.
Disclosures & privacy
- We may earn from affiliate links; we disclose when applicable (FTC-compliant).
- Privacy practices are outlined in our Privacy Policy.
- Cookies (where applicable) are described in our Cookie Policy.
